We replace the as-built design and drawings with a complete 3D Digital & Graphical Model with all asset and inventory data in a single digital platform.
The result is centralized data, no risk of data loss due to fluctuation in employees and/or service providers. By using this unique technology, it is possible to create and maintain digital twins of buildings with high speed and accuracy for the use of building operations, facility management and more important, commercially viable retrofit opportunities. The created BIM models can be used as a data source integrated to building related software systems like IWMS (CAFM), BMS and can also be utilized as their integrated graphic interface. As all data is accessible in mobile devices, maintenance processes and workflows can be simplified and accelerated. The BIM model created in each project can easily be maintained and kept up to date by trained personnel or appointed service providers.
This also provides in addition to better operational performance, that the end-user/owner/Investor etc. will possess all up-to-date information related to the building and all plant & equipment, making it completely independent from subcontractors and suppliers, and even from its own personnel, all critical data will be stored within the digital platform. A TYPICAL BIM MODEL PROJECT

The typical scope of the project is to create a 3D Graphical BIM model of the designated building using the OrthoGraph technology with exact measurement and maintenance point positions. The created BIM building documentation is designed for building operation purposes and is easy to update during the whole lifecycle of the building as part of the daily operational workflow. The customer’s confirmation of the data content accepted by both parties is required prior to the start of the project.

The digital twin surveyed is further accessible and editable using the OrthoGraph application running on a mobile device (Apple iPad) and with the appropriate license. As a result, it not only applies to building operations, but also for construction and restoration or interior design purposes, either as source of precise and up-to-date floor plans and CAD models, or as a 3D visualization tool. In addition, the system also provides accurate measured and calculated data such as exact net leasable area, areas to accurately determine precise data for operational purposes for example cleaning or refurbishment etc. anytime the user requires the data as direct export from the system.

The speed and accuracy of the surveying process using OrthoGraph is the driving force to capture building data with precise measurements, assets & inventory of up to 2,000m2 per day, per surveyor.

The targeted accuracy of the survey is higher than 99%. During the surveys, we will work with “perpendicular preference”, which attempts to hide construction and measurement inaccuracies in right-angled corners unless it has a significant impact on the measurement accuracy.

The graphic BIM model and surveyed data created during the project will be available for exporting using a valid OrthoGraph Enterprise software license to the following industry standard formats: DXF, IFC, PDF, Excel, JPG, PNG.

The most used output format of OrthoGraph is Excel for instant analysis resulting in appropriate supplier contracts and improved building performance. The long-term value generation of Operational BIM can be achieved with the integration of the Digital Twin as a single source of truth of all required services.
